What we cover

We began with Istanbul and Türkiye: the architecture, neighbourhoods, tables and stays that make them distinctive. From there, our collections widen slowly to the Mediterranean and to European cities with a strong sense of place. You can see where we stand on the destinations page.

How we write

Our stories are written by the Novaire Editors desk unless a named contributor is credited. We do not invent experiences, quotes or interviews. When a story depends on a fact that can change, such as an opening date or an entry rule, we check it against a primary source before publication and update stories when things change. Each article shows when it was last updated.

Photography

We use photographs we have the right to publish, credited on every story and listed in full on our photo credits page. Images of stays show the setting, never a hotel we have not photographed or been given permission to show.

Independence

Novaire has no paid placements and, at the time of writing, no affiliate or hotel partnerships. If that changes, partner links will be clearly labelled, and our affiliate disclosure explains how they work.
